In 1978 I complained to Leigh Cross that the fireplace I had just installed had no control. I couldn’t turn down the heat or control the temperature. Leigh said “no problem, I’ll make you a pair of doors”. After waiting a while I became impatient and started sending him reminders.
The winter of 1979 a group would meet at Leigh Cross’s house once a week for some education in music. Leigh (graduate of Julliard) took us from the earliest music to present day.
