1971-Stanley Park
I was born in 1944. Therefore was called a “War Baby”. The huge crowds that followed me were “Baby Boomers” and they didn’t particularly liked how the world was being worked. Usually I enjoyed taking photos of their hi-jinx. (Strawberry Mountain Rock Festival-1970) However this protest was a little different. There was a lot of dope being smoked and tremendous amount of booze being guzzled. I didn’t get very far into the crowd before discovering that they were very much on edge. No comfortable acknowledgement of a photographer. I couldn’t take many photos and I made it out as quickly as possible. The police moved in later that day. Took care of the problem.
