I remember that day. Our teacher Miss Paul arranged to have the photo taken.Then she went after school to pick up auntie Jesse and Gramma.Strachan.

I think that is Martha Strachan in the wheel chair with Jessie behind, as I remember her. Three generations of women. Jessie was never in a wheel chair that I recall. She had a stroke in the barn and never recovered.
Ahhhh, thank you, I thought I was “miss remembering”, when Jessie French would come to the Nursery to get fruit trees. She said”I want big ones as I don’t have a lot of time to see them fruit.”
And she was very active then!
