Hmmm…A couple of older shirt haired guys probably wearing sunglasses taking pictures surreptitiously of people coming and going about their business. Maybe they thought you were Random Candid Memorable People.

I do remember that. Also we were viewed with some suspicion at the Market. I think they don’t get just weary of visitors they just don’t like them.
Kind of of a mixed message there..no place like home..? meaning you should go back there maybe ? Welcome to Lasqueti ? I recall feeling quite unwelcome.. Question at local coffee shop after purchasing coffee and muffin..”excuse me is there a restroom I can use ? ” answer..”nope” long pause..next question..”is there one anywhere I can use ?” answer..”there’s an outhouse up the road” walked up the road..finally found a friendly tree ..I guess not unlike Hornby they get a bit weary of summer visitors 🙂
