Not that it matters in the grand scheme of things, and not that I’d expect you to care particularly, but for the record:
The sweet little cove in the picture actually had a name before Tony Pantages came along. It’s called Agate Beach, and indeed, there are agates there. Some of the old ( literally) fisher dudes on the island eg Mr. Dalziel etc. used to call it Spring Bay because there’s a freshwater spring in the bushes at the foot of the cliff. But when I was a little summer kid here, and before Tony ever arrived, that cove was called Agate Beach. Not that you’d want to bother, but Bertie Stonehouse would corroborate.
