On the fun side, I remember when I put a notice in that Jean Shiels threw Les’ belonging out the door. She threatened to sue me for making things up. Of course! Shortly after, she threw Les’ belonging out the door. Ha.
Years after its opening I did talk one of these ‘old timers’ into visiting the site. He had said he needed a part for his truck. I told him there was one just like it at the recycling depot. He went up, got his part and became a fan. (too bad we no longer can get parts for our vehicles)
