The fireworks were also enormous! Every bridge on the Thames had a barge they set them off of. The flyover was awesome. Wasn’t it the 50th ‘Anniversary’ of VJ day? As much as I dislike large crowds, it was a pretty amazing experience being out there with all of those people. That said I would not do it today! Thanks for the memories Bob. Perhaps the Oval or Sir John Soane’s place is coming up?
